#Stats Back to Top
There are 4 abilities to level up for your main character and 2 innate abilities a character has.
Not only does a player's choice of class and subclass affect their beginning stats, a player during their beginning selection of character is given two points to level up their players stats. These extra points do not get awarded to the player if they choose to have the default player.
This determines the character's range damage
This determines the kinds of tech items a player can use. Also determines the ability to control turrets and download a map from the console.
This determines the character's melee damage. The higher this stat, the more damage you do when using melee attacks against enemies
This determines the character's maximum health. The higher this stat, the longer you can go without using a MedKit. Health can be lost in combat, by the infection, and by hunger.
There are also some innate abilities that a player has. These are dependent of the player's choice of their main character. These are things that are attributes that all players need to take into account when playing Astro.
