Admin

• All tasks needs to be wrapped up by end of June and invoicing completed by end of July
• August all remaining funds will be transferred over
• To work in July then we need money in hand by July, which means there is urgency to get funds from ActivitySim agencies
• Will submit "bridge task orders" of $10K for Task 2 type of work to continue work until all funds are set-up
• Within next month, suggest taking action to adjust the way we meet by setting up committees as outlined in Roadmap (with some potential adjustments)

Technical

  • Josie Kressner gave an introduction with her background
  • Tested tool options, leading to final recommendation of using UV
    • Provided demo on tool
      • Installs quickly
    • Can install using uv.lock or from PyPI, (or option 3, use Windows Installer)
  • Future improvements
    • Review and remove unused dependencies
    • Some, but not all, Sharrow test are failing on Mac and Linux
    • Estimation test is failing due to missing larch release on PyPI
    • Benchmarking functions require code changes to remove Conda
    • Remove Conda from all Jupyter notebooks
  • Made documentation updates
