Verified whats-new.md against automem@4b5eaafd2602c9eba39bbfe38e4120e3654c67e9 (release 0.16.1, 2026-07-07). The page still described 0.16.0 as the latest AutoMem release even though 0.16.1 shipped a week later. Bumped the intro version/date and added a short "0.16.1 (patch)" section summarizing the stability fixes from CHANGELOG.md (placeholder-fallback rejection, confirmed graph writes, vector candidate fetch tuning, MetaPattern drift-check exclusion). mcp-automem is still correctly at 0.15.0 (no newer release).
