The role of the Secretary is to aid the main branch in administrative functions to help organize McMaster IEEE activities
- Attend all executive and general meetings to take meeting minutes
- Book rooms for IEEE activities and meetings, specifically those specified by the Main Branch
- Update the Wiki so information can be easily collected and used for reference
- Plan social activities (usually twice a semester) for member solidarity and morale
- Participate in any other Branch activities at leisure
