Connecting Hardware to software

The slider panel and Playback panel communicate via Midi ports. The DMX dongle communicates via a COM port. Check out the daemons and make sure they are communicating effectively (Look at the scripts in the daemon folder)

Turning off the computer

Use the power button (just press. Windows will shut down nicely), or use keyboard to press windows and select shut down.
