Games marked with an asterisk might need windowing mode changes via commandline arguments to work. They also might work without them. Your mileage can vary.

Games that sometimes work

  • Fortnite (It must choose EAC at start rather than BattlEye)

  • Realm Royale (one guy showed it working on youtube, but others haven't had luck)

  • Smite (Some issues involving .NET; some people get it working and others don't)

Games known to be broken

  • 7 days to die (don't recall why, but it has a native Linux build that people can use anyway)

  • ArcheAge (glyph does not want to load with wine exports hidden)

  • Ghost Recon: Wildlands (game has compatibility issues with wine)

  • Rogue Company (deficiencies in wine)

  • Squad (movie issue causes assertion error at launch and possibly other issues; ironically, it can work in proton via EAC proton compatibility if you follow steps on the proton issue tracker)

  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (unclear why, but cutting communication with the internet lets it launch for single player)
