Getting help
If you're having trouble getting the Climate and Weather Science Virtual Laboratory up and running on your machine, please contact Tim Pugh or Clare Richards at the Bureau of Meteorology for assistance ([email protected]).
If you have questions about the CWSLab Workflow Tool (i.e. the plug-in package to the VisTrails workflow software installed on the Virtual Laboratory) then your first port of call is our Gitter room. Rather than having a dedicated software developer assigned to it, the code-base for the CWSLab Workflow Tool is maintained by the community of researchers and support staff who use it in their daily work. The Gitter room is where that community answers general questions and chats about future development of the tool. If you post a major bug or idea for a new enhancement in the Gitter room, often the community will suggest that you log that bug or enhancement on the issues page of the GitHub repository.
