FoxyRecon provides some functions to make it faster to find the most appropriate web resources for our analysis
Some web resources, in FoxyRecon, have tags that briefly describe the main information they are able to offer. So, you can filter the web resources by using these tags. Below are the tags provided:
- Web resources with this tag can offer information about the reputation of the indicator. From this information, it is possible to determine whether the indicator is benign, suspect, or used for malicious activity.
- Web resources with this tag provides WHOIS information
- Resources with this tag allow to perform DNS lookups
- Resources with this tag offers information about the SSL/TLS certificate.
- Web resources with this tag provides sandbox utilities that can offers more detailed information obtained from analysis performed automatically on files (hashes) or URLs
- Resources with this tag provides information about data leaks, for example, if an email address has been involved in a breach in the past
- Resources with this tag are able to provide a screenshot of the website reachable at a given URL or domain.
You can also filter web resources by name using the search modifier "tool:" in the search bar. You can also simply insert, after the indicator, the special character ! followed by a keyword. The keyword can be the full or partial name of the web resource you want to use.

You can add web resources to favorites list, by clicking on the star icon:

When you are marking your researches, you can show only the favorites web resources.
