Background
ACP (Agent Client Protocol) is an open standard protocol that allows AI agents and applications to communicate seamlessly. The AI SDK now supports ACP-compatible agents (like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI) through a dedicated provider, expanding what developers can build with the SDK.
This provider is now on the official ACP Clients list: https://agentclientprotocol.com/overview/clients
Summary
Added documentation for the ACP Provider to help developers integrate ACP agents into their applications using the AI SDK.
