This change looks fine. But. MyUW is no longer sourcing uportal-app-framework from here in GitHub. So merging here will have no effect in MyUW. Instead this change will need to be in UW's private repo (where main rather than master is the main branch).

I updated the project README so that this is less confusing going forward.
