Hi, sorry for the delay,

I've tried to add Lingala to Tuxtype, here are my findings:
needed to rename the files in the words directory to end in ".txt" and to not contain "*" in the filename.
needed to add an entry to lingala in configure.ac and in data/themes/Makefile.am
needed to create data/themes/lingala/Makefile.am and data/themes/lingala/words/Makefile.am

With the above in place, Tuxtype shows the Lingala language in the language chooser and displays some of the Lingala words in the cascade game.
But then there are some problems:
needed to convert the text of the .txt files to uppercase, this looks as a Tuxtype problem in the sense that it seems to expect only uppercase text(or converts any input to uppercase?), it displays mixed case but don't recognizes the word when typed.

To display all the words, one has to create a keyboard.lst file which contains all the chars used in the words. I searched among the other translations and the closest I found is the hungarian/keyboard.lst which contains accented letters like Á, Ó, etc but it doesn't contain letters like "Ɔ" nor "Ɛ́". Not knowing how the Lingala keyboards are disposed I've just added the letters without their position.

I could merge, or rebase and merge, then add the changes I comment and later finish polishing the Lingala addition.

Thanks for any comments
Pere
