Investigated: C9900033429 is a JLCPCB-assembly-only part number — it doesn't exist in EasyEDA's component database at all. Both API paths return empty/404:

• search API (/api/components/search, what fetchEasyEDAComponent uses): 0 results in every list (lcsc/easyeda/SMT/...)
• products API (/api/products/C9900033429/components): {success:false, code:404}

JLCPCB's C99xxxxxxx numbers are internal assembly-catalog entries that often have no EasyEDA symbol/footprint behind them, so there's nothing the converter can fetch. The "Component not found" error is accurate here — the only improvement available is a friendlier message (e.g. noting that C99-prefixed assembly parts frequently have no EasyEDA data and suggesting the underlying manufacturer part number be searched instead). Happy to submit that error-message improvement if wanted.
