Every Major Release is based on the Long Term Release (LTR) of any software used (QGIS, PostgreSQL, postgis, ...)
Minor Releases are built to ensure the new functionalities integration (from modules and used softwares mentionned here above)
The idea behind the TEKSI support policy is to encourage continuous update of modules to be able to deal with security updates, get new functionnalities and fix bugs.
The TEKSI community does not bring any warranty to the supported modules but actively contributes to their testing and to assess their stability.
Fixes provided by the TEKSI community will always concern the LTR versions, the upcoming versions and the latest LTR (-1).
For QGIS this means in 2023 that tested versions are QGIS 3.22, 3.28, and current (3.30, 3.32, 3.24 (future LTR)).
We strongly recommend to work on LTR releases for production environments and to update at least yearly the modules and their used softwares mentionned above.
