Summary

Adds a GitHub Actions workflow (.github/workflows/deploy-viewer.yml) that builds the self-contained viewer and publishes it to GitHub Pages on every push to main.

Because dist/ is a gitignored build artifact, the site is built in CI (python3 scripts/build_viewer.py) rather than committed — so the live page always matches main and the repo stays artifact-free. All viewer assets are inlined, so it serves correctly from the Pages project subpath with no base-path fixups.

One-time setup required

After merge, enable Pages once: repo Settings → Pages → Source: GitHub Actions. The workflow can also be run manually via workflow_dispatch.

Once enabled, the viewer will be live at:
https://tbfangel.github.io/software-design-resources/

Notes

  • Standard Pages permissions (pages: write, id-token: write) and a pages concurrency group so deploys don't overlap.
  • The existing validate-okf.yml check is unaffected.
  • The repo is already public, so this exposes nothing new — it just makes the existing digests browsable.
