Hey, I'm Sergii 👋

Ruby/Rails engineer from Odesa 🇺🇦. I work on the unglamorous half of the backend — the part that has to stay correct while money and traffic move through it.

  • 🛠️ Now: tech lead at PeopleForce, building Kadry — HR compliance for Ukraine (statutory docs, Diia e-signature, gov reporting).
  • 🐘 ~4 years at Shopify, teaching terabytes of billing data to live on Vitess shards without losing a cent.
  • 🧪 Currently tinkering with llm_cost_tracker — a Rails-native ledger for LLM spend.
