Minimally Viable Digital Citizen

“Minimally Viable Digital Citizen” provides users with information and resources on:

  • how digital tools work and how to use them
  • what the stakes of public discourse are in digital environments and what a citizen of the digital age needs to know to make informed decisions.

Going beyond the user -interface, this wiki is designed to help users peek under the hood of their digital devices, with tutorials ranging from how to navigate and understand the basic hardware under your computer to encrypting your email and internet privacy. These guides provide step-by-step instructions on various aspects of the technical environments in which we work so that we as users might take better control over the tools we use every day and the civic choices we make within and about digital environments.
