Admitted.fyi is a dynamic US graduate application database and tracking tool that leverages the power of crowd-sourced information to help prospective students navigate the admissions process. With Admitted.fyi, users can access a wealth of admissions results to gain insights into application trends, acceptance rates, and more, making the graduate application journey more transparent and informed.
To get Admitted.fyi up and running in your local environment, follow these steps. This project is built with Next.js and uses pnpm for package management, with a database powered by a mySQL database.
- Node.js (version 18 or higher)
- pnpm
- Docker
- Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/ryankrumbholz/admitted-fyi.git
- Navigate to the project directory:
cd admitted-fyi
- Install dependencies using pnpm:
pnpm install
- Make sure docker is installed and running!
- Start the development server:
pnpm run dev
- Open
http://localhost:3000
in your browser to view the application.
