resolves the parsing challenges :)
Use a 1-tuple for this. It's mildly inconsistent with 2-, 3-tuples being "flatten". Not sure how I feel about that.

These improvements to the parser have been living on my branch for a while. I introduced them when working with the https://dada-lang.org/ model.
