As nothing happens in the readfiles function (only previewfile is performed to confuse user), wouldn't it be more readable to add the following line
if(!tests.formdata){alert('Unsupported');return false;}
and skip further tests.formdata conditioning?
Or have I misunderstood the purpose of the function?
