On most platforms, UEFI firmware enables the backlight chip by default, so the kernel does not need to re-enable it. However, on certain images, UEFI fails to initialize the backlight, resulting in a blank eDP screen after boot.

This patch adds kernel-side backlight control for eDP panels to ensure proper display functionality across all meta images, regardless of UEFI behavior.

Tested on Hamoa EVK with multiple Ubuntu meta builds.
