Creating an event

Creating an event is pretty straight forward.
Creation is only possible in the forums that have the Date Topic Event Calendar enabled.
When creating a 'New Topic' within one of those forums, you are prompted with additional fields on the posting page.

		If you do NOT want to create an event, but a regular topic: 
		  Leave all "Date Topic Event Calendar" fields empty!
		
		Note: 
		this can be done ONLY in those enabled forums which got
		the option for NOT mandatory fields.

Now let's go over the input fields in the Date Topic Event Calendar Creator:

  • Event Location (preset)
    You can choose a location from a drop-down list defined by an Administrator.
  • Event Location (custom)
    You can fill in a location of your own liking.
  • Event Host
    You can fill in the host for the event.
    This will default to the username of the user creating the topic.
  • Event Date
    You can choose a date for when the event is taking place using the provided date-picker (JQuery).
    Pressing the
    🔄 button next to it, will reset the date.
  • Event Type
    You can choose a type from a drop-down list of forums that have Date Topic Event Calendar enabled.
  • Minimum age
    You can fill in the minimum age for attending this event.
    ⚠️ Leave at 0 for no minimum age restriction.
  • Maximum age
    You can fill in the maximum age for attending this event.
    ⚠️ Leave at 0 for no maximum age restriction.
  • Number of participants
    You can fill in the maximum participants for this event.
    ⚠️ Leave at 0 for unlimited participants.
		The host is NOT automatically attending an event.
