I don't think you need this bc you aren't allowing foreign open api calls.

Try to extend this to add user functionality. Where users can login and track their shortened links (their click count).

Adding onto what @maxdignan said, if you don't know about the Devise gem, look up the Devise gem.

@kmodlich you might wantot just use #has_secure_password for this project, bc Devise is a pretty heavy tool.
