Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-7620 (?)
- SCP-7620 is a seemingly endless hallway within a house, lined with numerous white wooden doors, most of which are locked. The unlocked doors lead to various unlit rooms with constantly changing furniture and contents, often resembling familiar, yet subtly wrong, places or items from the memories of anyone inside. The anomaly appears to slowly erase memories and physical objects, replacing them with distorted or non-existent versions, eventually causing individuals and their connections to the outside world to vanish as if they never existed. Containment involves sealing the entrances to the house and monitoring the property to prevent civilians from entering.
- Disappearance of Johnny Gosch (?)
- The disappearance of Johnny Gosch, a 12-year-old paperboy, on September 5, 1982, in West Des Moines, Iowa, remains an unsolved kidnapping case that garnered national attention and led to significant changes in how missing children cases are handled. Gosch's photo was among the first to appear on milk cartons in a campaign to find missing children. His mother, Noreen Gosch, has been a prominent advocate for missing children, establishing the Johnny Gosch Foundation and lobbying for legislation like "The Johnny Gosch Bill," which mandates immediate police response to reports of missing children. Over the years, the case has been marked by speculation, conspiracy theories, and disputed claims, including Noreen's assertion that her son visited her in 1997, claiming he had been a victim of a pedophile organization. Despite various leads, alleged sightings, and potentially linked disappearances of other paperboys in the area, no arrests have been made, and Johnny Gosch's fate remains unknown.
