Summary of Changes

Hello @jonathannorris, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses minor but essential maintenance items by updating the copyright information in the project's license file to the current year and adding a common development-related directory to the .gitignore. These changes contribute to legal accuracy and maintain a clean version control history by excluding IDE-specific temporary files.

Highlights

  • License Update: The project's LICENSE file has been updated to reflect the current copyright year as "2025" and to explicitly name "OpenFeature Maintainers" as the copyright owner.
  • Gitignore Update: The .gitignore file has been modified to include .cursor/, ensuring that files and directories generated by the Cursor IDE are not tracked by Git.

Code Review

This pull request updates the copyright in the LICENSE file and adds an entry for the Cursor editor to the .gitignore file. The changes are generally good, but I have one suggestion for the .gitignore file to make the pattern more precise and avoid potential issues with ignoring unintended directories.

specification.json
target
.DS_Store
.cursor/

To ensure that only the .cursor directory at the root of the project is ignored, it's a good practice to anchor the pattern to the root by prefixing it with a /. This prevents Git from ignoring any .cursor directories that might exist in subdirectories.

/.cursor/
