Hide Claim Fields for MemberPress Gifting

WordPress plugin that adds a Show for Gift Claim checkbox to each MemberPress custom field. Use it to control which custom fields gift recipients see when they claim a gift and on their account page.

If MemberPress or Gifting is missing, an admin notice explains the dependency.

Installation

1. Copy the plugin folder into wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate Hide Claim Fields for MemberPress Gifting in Plugins.

Usage

1. Go to MemberPress → Settings → Fields (custom fields).
2. For each custom field row, use Show for Gift Claim (next to the required checkbox).
3. Save MemberPress options.

• Checked: the field is shown for gift-claim signup and for users who only have gift transactions (gift-only accounts), including ReadyLaunch account display where applicable.
• Unchecked: the field is hidden in those contexts. Validation errors for hidden fields are suppressed so claim flows are not blocked.

Behavior notes

• Gift claim signup: detected via coupon/code in the request and gift-complete coupon meta.
• Gift-only users: logged-in users whose completed transactions are all gift-related (per MemberPress Gifting transaction meta) are treated like gift claim recipients for field visibility and validation.
