I turn ideas into functional digital products.
I design and build modern websites, web applications, interfaces, and digital tools — combining software engineering, product thinking, and visual design.

I work across the space between design and development.

My goal isn't simply to make something that works.
It should be useful.
It should be understandable.
It should be maintainable.
It should look intentional.
I'm Abdul Mateen, a developer and product designer from Nigeria.
I enjoy taking rough ideas and turning them into real digital products — from the first interface concept to the working application.
My current path is:
Web Development → Full-Stack Development → Product Engineering → AI Systems
I'm learning primarily by building, experimenting, breaking things, fixing them, and improving the result.
- 🌐 Modern web development
- ⚙️ Full-stack application development
- 🎨 Product & UI/UX design
- 🤖 AI-powered applications
- 🧠 Software architecture
- 🚀 Building products around real problems
A few projects that represent what I'm currently exploring.
|
An experiment exploring how AI can assist developers throughout the software development process. Exploring
|
A marketplace concept built around students and campus vendors. Exploring
|
|
A modern invoicing application designed around everyday business workflows. Exploring
|
A product concept focused on helping users create stronger resumes and professional portfolios. Exploring

A Flask-based library catalogue system backed by SQLite.

Before writing code, understand what actually needs to be solved.
Not every problem needs a complicated solution.
Good software isn't only technically correct. People have to understand and use it.
I try to structure projects so future updates don't mean rebuilding everything from scratch.
The first version doesn't need to be perfect.
It needs to exist.
Not everything here is a finished product.
Some repositories are:
Experiments · Prototypes · Learning Projects · Tools · Games · UI Concepts
That's intentional.
I use GitHub to document the journey — not just display the final results.
The polished projects show what I can build.
The experiments show how I learn.

Web → Full-Stack → Product → AI
Learning through projects rather than tutorials alone.
One of the things I enjoy most is working on both sides of the product.

DIGITAL EXPERIENCE
This lets me think about:
- How something should look
- How something should feel
- How someone will use it
- How it should work
- How it can be maintained
- How it can evolve
Alongside software projects, I work on real-world digital and creative projects.
- Business websites
- Brand identity
- Visual design
- Product interfaces
- Digital experiences
- Business-focused web solutions
I want the work I create to be useful outside a portfolio screenshot.
I'm interested in opportunities involving:
Web Development
Frontend Development
Full-Stack Development
Product Design
UI/UX
AI Applications
Startup Products
Software Projects
Freelance Development
Collaborative Projects
Especially projects where the goal is to solve something real, not just add another feature.
