Make releasing easy:

  • Sanity-checks
    • checkout is clean
    • branch is master
    • branch is in sync with origin
  • build packages
  • bump versions
  • Auto-generate a changelog
  • Create release tag and commit to master
  • submit to pypi
  • Make a github release and upload packages
  • Configure Docker to create builds based on tag
