Three-Statement Financial Model – Tata Motors 🧾📊

A complete three-statement financial model integrating the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement of Tata Motors (TAMO).
The model is built fully in Excel, with structured formulas, driver-based forecasting and automatic statement linking.


🔹 What This Model Does

This financial model allows you to:

  • Forecast revenue, margins, cost structure and working capital
  • Build an integrated P&L → Balance Sheet → Cash Flow framework
  • Adjust key assumptions and watch all statements update automatically
  • Understand how changes in operations impact liquidity and profitability
  • Use as a base for valuation (DCF), scenario analysis or investment research

This is a standard structure used in Equity Research, Corporate Finance, and Investment Banking.

🧠 Model Structure Overview

1. Assumptions Sheet

Contains all editable drivers:

  • Revenue growth
  • Operating margins
  • Capex & Depreciation
  • Working capital days
  • Tax rate
  • Interest & financing assumptions

2. Income Statement

  • Revenue build-up
  • EBITDA, EBIT
  • PBT, Net Income
  • Margin calculations

3. Balance Sheet

  • Assets (PPE, Current Assets, Cash)
  • Liabilities (Borrowings, Payables)
  • Equity and retained earnings linkage

4. Cash Flow Statement

  • Operating cash flow
  • Investing cash flow (Capex)
  • Financing cash flow (Debt movements)
  • Automatic closing cash calculation

All three statements are linked, ensuring internal consistency.


🚀 How to Use the Model

Option A — Excel (Simplest)

  1. Open TAMO 3 Statement Model.xlsx
  2. Go to Assumptions sheet
  3. Modify:
    • Growth rates
    • Margins
    • Capex
    • WC Days
  4. All three statements will update automatically

Option B — Use for Valuation (Optional)

You can extend this to:

  • Build a DCF
  • Create bull/base/bear scenarios
  • Evaluate cash flow sensitivity
