Casino and resort industry career platform, employer directory, and news aggregator.

CasinoComp is a vertical job board and content platform built specifically for the casino and resort industry — covering gaming operations, hospitality, surveillance, table games, food & beverage, and executive leadership. It combines employer profiles, programmatic SEO city/category pages, a job listing engine, and a trade news aggregator into a single platform purpose-built for the gaming vertical.
Target users: casino HR teams posting roles (MGM, Caesars, Monarch, tribal operators) and gaming industry professionals searching for positions without wading through generalist job boards.
CasinoComp was built by forking DFW Daily, a Dallas-area local business directory and news platform. The two share the same underlying Next.js 15 architecture, PostgreSQL/Prisma data layer, BullMQ async job system, and programmatic SEO patterns — but everything about the data, the content model, and the business logic is different.
Same architecture, different vertical. This is intentional.
| Layer | DFW Daily | CasinoComp |
|---|---|---|
| Framework | Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind | Same |
| Database | PostgreSQL + Prisma | Same (schema restructured) |
| Async jobs | BullMQ + Redis | Same |
| SMTP drip via Nodemailer | Same | |
| SEO pattern | "Best [service] in [DFW suburb]" | "Casino jobs in [city]" / "[role] casino jobs" |
| Directory unit | Local business listing | Casino employer profile |
| Content unit | Local deals, DFW events | Industry job listings, gaming trade news |
| Revenue model | Featured listing fees, affiliate | Success fee on hires ($350–5%) |
| Acquisition | Local business outreach | Casino HR teams, tribal gaming |
| Extension | Business claim/verification flow | Employer verification flow |
The pattern across the MAX EV Holdings portfolio is consistent: build a proven, production-tested architecture once, then repurpose it into new verticals with different data models, different SEO targets, and different business logic on top. DFW Daily proved the architecture. CasinoComp is the first vertical fork.
