The error handling could be improved on these because I relied on QWebSocket::errorOccurred downstream which was added in Qt 6.5 but other than that, there are no real concerns. The likelihood of the failures is relatively low as well given that all of the network traffic is over the local interface.
I also had the great fortune/wisdom to open this while GitHub's Actions infrastructure was severely degraded.
