Volo helps parents of bilingual children find other bilingual families, so that the children can practice their parent’s mother tongue.
A user can find groups of families who speak the same language and ask to join the group.
A user can also create their own group and accept or decline requests from other users.
Within a group, users can create events and RSVP to other user's events. Each group has a chatroom.
Users can see resources posted by other users and pin them to the pins section of their profile page.
In the kids' section, children can use AI to generate a story with the "Story Generator". When they enter prompts for a story, the app creates and sends a request to the ChatGPT API, which sends back a title and a story based on the prompts entered.
