Our Shared KGrid components Shelf and Adapters are deployed to a maven repository for dependency management. The KGrid applications (Activator and Library) have these components as dependencies. Maven the builds for these application access the repository as needed for these dependencies.
Sonatype OSSRH (OSS Repository Hosting) uses Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager to provide repository hosting service for open source project binaries OSSRH uses the Maven repository format and allows you to:
- deploy development version binaries (snapshots)
- stage release binaries
- promote release binaries and sync them to the Central Repository
- Nexus Repository Manager https://oss.sonatype.org
- Repository URL for snapshot deployment and download access https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/kgrid/
- Repository URL for release deployment, no download access! https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/
- Repository URL for release download access, this repository is synced to the Central Repository, direct deployment to this repository is NOT possible https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases/org/kgrid/
- Repository group that contains snapshots and releases https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/public/org/kgrid/

After you successfully release (CircleCi Job completes), the component will be published to Central repo, typically within 10 minutes, beware updates search.maven.org can take up to two hours.
