🧱 統一模型層 | Unified Model Layer

Phase 1 introduces a shared Pydantic v2 model layer in astro/models.py so systems can converge on one trustworthy interface without breaking existing Streamlit renderers.

  • BirthData validates date, time, timezone, latitude, longitude, and gender
  • BaseChartResult provides common chart fields and a system_specific escape hatch for traditions that need richer custom payloads
  • WesternChartResult and ZiweiChartResult are the first unified adapters
  • astro.compute_chart(system, birth_data) is the new foundation entry point for typed multi-system computation

This layer is currently additive: legacy compute functions still work, while new integrations can opt into the unified models by calling the new entrypoint or using as_model=True on the adapted systems.

🌙 紫微曆法精度 | Ziwei Calendar Accuracy

KinAstro now supports two Ziwei lunar-conversion paths:

  • Legacy compatibility path: the original lookup-table/approximation logic remains available for existing UI flows and backward compatibility
  • Astronomical model path: compute_ziwei_chart(..., as_model=True) and astro.compute_chart("ziwei", BirthData(...)) use Swiss Ephemeris to derive lunar months from precise new moons and principal solar terms (中氣)

The astronomical path follows the standard Chinese lunisolar rule set:

  1. Consecutive new moons define lunar month boundaries
  2. The month containing the winter solstice is treated as lunar month 11
  3. If a solstice-to-solstice span contains 13 lunar months, the first month without a principal term is marked as the leap month

This path is the recommended basis for professional-grade Ziwei calculation. The current validation target is 1800–2200; results outside that band are flagged for manual verification against an external almanac or ephemeris.

🪷 解讀系統 Phase 3 | Interpretation System

KinAstro now includes a dedicated structured Ziwei interpretation layer under astro/interpretation/:

  • astro/interpretation/ziwei.py builds a traditional template-first reading with explicit sections for 命宮、身宮、四化、星曜組合、 and 大限
  • astro/interpretation/ziwei_prompt_templates.py provides reusable Ziwei-specific prompts and few-shot examples for future multi-system prompt expansion
  • astro/interpretation/providers.py adds a thin provider abstraction so the same interpretation flow can target Cerebras or a local Ollama server

In app.py, Ziwei now exposes:

  1. Traditional mode – fully local, rule-based output without LLM calls
  2. Hybrid mode – traditional scaffold plus AI enhancement
  3. AI Only mode – same structured pipeline, reserved for stronger future RAG/LLM emphasis

The final interpretation is stored as editable markdown in the UI so users can revise or export it before generating reports.

📄 PDF 報告生成 Phase 4 | PDF Report Generation

KinAstro now includes a professional Ziwei PDF reporting stack under astro/report/:

  • astro/report/pdf_generator.py uses reportlab for page layout, header, footer, branded sections, and printable PDF assembly
  • astro/report/templates/ziwei.py provides the first production template, configurable report options, and a dedicated Pillow-based palace-grid PNG renderer optimized for export
  • generate_pdf_report("ziwei", ...) accepts ZiweiChartResult and ZiweiInterpretationResult directly, so the PDF uses structured fields such as Summary, 命宮分析, 身宮分析, 四化影響, 星群組合, 大限概述, AI notes, and the editable final interpretation

In the Streamlit Ziwei interpretation panel, users can now:

  1. Select the report template
  2. Choose whether AI-enhanced notes are included
  3. Preview the printable chart image
  4. Download a client-ready PDF directly

The implementation keeps TXT/CSV and other export paths untouched while adding a higher-quality PDF workflow for professional consultation delivery.
