Spell system planning for Phase 1 (complete) and Phase 2 (elementals).

Phase 2 at a glance

Infrastructure (deferred from Phase 1):

  • 6-slot hotbar + attack-phase grimoire
  • Per-wave charges, charge-up, sustain toggles, gold material costs (demos)
  • All targeting modes + enemy statuses + delayed impacts

Content: 18 elemental spells (5 fire, 4 water, 5 earth, 4 air)

Explicitly NOT Phase 2: spell purchasing shop (Phase 3)

Locked from your Phase 1 answers: Wand Strike auto-cadence, no room friendly fire, instant Fireball, mana 10/4.

Suggested implementation order

Step A+B first (~9 spells + framework), then fill remaining elementals as Phase 2.1.

modes, status effects, sustain/charge-up/gold demos, and links Phase 1
roadmap to the new plan.
