I see that the default port in your code is 7000. However my server starts on port 8080 and I don't have the env var PORT set. Seems like this code actually gets never executed.

EDIT: The port is 7000 if I run node dist/server.js. It also is different webserver, as e.g. the URL /testdata exists with this one, whereas is does not exist with the webpack dev server (wich is started by npm start.
