Hi! I'm Joshua Motoaki Lau (劉元明), and I'm the founder & CEO of Kizaki.
I recently graduated from Princeton University, where I studied Electrical & Computer Engineering. There, I researched computer networks with the NetSyn Lab and led TigerApps, a student organization that builds open-source apps for the Princeton community.
- TigerJunction — A full-stack web application for Princeton academic planning and course selection used by the vast majority of Princeton undergraduates.
- Reword — A no-frills CLI flashcard app with spaced repetition. I use this for language learning.
- Titrate — An algorithm in network routers to maximize throughout and minimize latency through buffer sizing without making assumptions about the underlying network traffic (NSDI '26).
