Tech Lead at Capgemini, founder of Snowy, and freelance engineer for EQx (Switzerland). Computer engineer based in Logroño, Spain (CPITIR-certified).
I lead the frontend of a strategic project for VidaCaixa and drive Generative AI adoption initiatives within the account. Previously Lead Software Engineer on Banco Santander's Pandora program and on Inditex's in-store terminal at Minsait (Indra).
In parallel I work with the Foundation for Value Creation, the Swiss foundation behind the Elite Quality Index — a political-economy index published since 2020 under the academic leadership of three University of St. Gallen institutes, ranking 151 countries by how far their elites create value for society rather than extract it. I took over as the engineer behind its digital products: the public index site and the private console alongside it. It's a small setup, so the job isn't only writing code — it's owning the handover, talking directly to the index directors and designers, and deciding what ships before each milestone.
I also run LaRiojaMeteo, a regional weather brand with 500k+ monthly visits, and I'm building Snowy as its product — a real-time meteorology platform with multi-model ensemble forecasting (ECMWF, GFS, ICON, ARPEGE, GEM), interactive radar, ingestion from AEMET, Euskalmet, MeteoGalicia, MITECO, CAMS, USGS and IGN, and a conversational AI assistant.
