Beta release

Overhauled the design to what I finally ended up wanting, and I'm happy with how it works.

Added single-purpose nodes

Split the monolithic node into smaller, single-purpose nodes.
Updated unit tests.

First bugfix...

Fixed ckpt_name to be compatible with loader nodes.

First full alpha release

First release following publishing to the Registry.

Seems to work well enough, but I haven't done extensive testing yet.
