This pull request extends the port system by introducing an explicit data type used to validate connections.
Connections can now only be established between ports that share the same data type, preventing invalid or semantically incorrect links from #493
The handling of visual port configuration has been updated:
General visual settings are still defined on the port type level
Port-specific visual settings take precedence when explicitly set
This approach allows consistent default styling while still enabling fine-grained customization of individual ports.
