Hi there!
I'm using the
formalimage to run formal verification on my VHDL designs.. or well, am learning how to do this. Thanks for this amazing tool collection!During fixing of ghdl/ghdl#2569 I stumbled over the fact, that the
ghdlbase image is outdated by a few months. The root cause seems to be thatghdl/pkgimage is no longer regularly updated:As the dockerfile contained a ToDo note to build ghdl from source instead of using the
ghdl/pkgimage, I tried to do that. Please note that only the mcode backend is build from source. LLVM and GCC backends will still use the outdated pkg image (for now).
Running a test build with
pyHDLCwas successful and produced an updatedghdlimage.I'd be very happy if this pr gets merged.
Let me know if I shall change anything.
Kind regards
Nik
