Configure more Ubuntu build targets for PPA

Current, we use a PPA to build and publish .deb packages for Ubuntu Jammy. While this is the latest LTS version of Ubuntu, it would be nice to automatically build packages for more Ubuntu versions (namely the latest non-LTS version supported). While this can be accomplished locally, ideally this would be rolled into the automation currently configured to push sources to Launchpad for build.

Hi @dvdmuckle I was going through web regarding PPA and stuff, I got the definition understanding, can you help me understand more about this ? this seems completely new thing to me would like to try this out

@PHAGUN-JAIN for sure! So, right now, we only publish packages for the latest version of Ubuntu LTS, which right now is 24.04, codenamed Noble Numbat (or just noble for short). However, there are other versions of Ubuntu out there, such as Ubuntu 24.10, codenamed Oracular Oriole. It would be really cool if we had some kind of script or automation that can push builds for multiple version of Ubuntu at the same time. Crucially, I don't think you can specify multiple version of Ubuntu in the deb package changelog file, which the PPA system uses to determine what version of Ubuntu to build for.
