Nitpicks 🔍

🔒 No security issues identified
⚡ Recommended areas for review

  • Missing route module
The PR adds a require for ./routes/hello and mounts it. Validate that routes/hello exists, exports an Express Router (or compatible handler), and is included in the package. If the file is missing or exports something unexpected the app will crash at startup.

  • Mounting and error handling
The new route is mounted before the 404 handler (good). Confirm the hello route handles errors and next(err) properly so unhandled errors propagate to the central error handler. Also ensure it doesn't bypass existing static or auth middleware unintentionally.

  • Modern JS usage
The new code uses var and a traditional function expression. Prefer const/let and arrow functions to reduce accidental hoisting and make intent clearer. Update the declarations and handler style for consistency with modern Node/Express codebases.
