First-class Borneo support in IntelliJ IDEA — build, run, and test your Java projects without leaving the IDE.
Borneo is a lightweight Java build tool written in Rust, inspired by Cargo. It uses a simple borneo.kdl manifest instead of verbose XML or Groovy scripts. This plugin brings full Borneo integration to IntelliJ IDEA.
Just open your project — the plugin detects borneo.kdl automatically and sets everything up: source folders, dependencies, and libraries. No manual configuration needed.
Run from the gutter — click the green arrow next to any main method to run your app, or use the built-in run configurations for borneo run, borneo build, and borneo test.
Dependencies just work — Maven dependencies declared in borneo.kdl are resolved and indexed, giving you code completion, navigation, and inspections as you'd expect.
Live reload — edit your borneo.kdl and the project re-syncs automatically. You can also trigger a manual resync from the right-click menu.
Kotlin support — if you have the Kotlin plugin installed, Borneo automatically configures Kotlin facets and libraries for mixed Java/Kotlin projects.
