Summary

stop keeping diff and explorer panels mounted in the background
remove delayed diff preloading and hidden git-status diff prefetching
restore inactive explorer guard so file tree/editor work only runs when active

Testing

pnpm typecheck
pnpm lint (passes with existing warnings)
