implemented and tested the many removals are from removing package-lock.json... maybe i shouldn't have removed it XD |

implemented notepad++ equivalent compare shortcut:
ctrl+alt+c (new behavior: compares tabs, prefers to the left, but if furthest to the left is active tab, then compares to the right)
