What changes are proposed in this pull request?
Since Protobufs are a bit of a hassle to setup regarding descriptors etc, we also support sending JSON records through gRPC. Record type is configured on stream level and by default it is Protobuf so we keep backward compatibility.
How is this tested?
Unit and manual tests.
