I've added an example with Custom Components in MDX. Since this example was using only markdown, I moved over the entire thing to MDX.

+1 for MDX support

My implementation works now. Earlier there was a problem with yarn and netlify, but now it's sorted and this pull req should be able to bring MDX (+rehype plugins) support!
