@kenodegard , rever asked me to add a weird alternate email for one contributor. I don't know what it means, but I added it for now.

This means you're running the last release of rever and not the development branch which corrects the duplicate counting (see regro/rever#266). To correct this please install the development branch of rever and rerun:

$ conda create -n rever --only-deps rever
$ conda activate rever
(rever) $ git clone https://github.com/regro/rever.git
(rever) $ cd rever
(rever) $ pip install .

@ForgottenProgramme rever only tells you to add emails based on what emails have been used to commit code, so any email rever mentions will be whatever that user configured for their git

in this case that's the format GitHub uses for user emails ([email protected])
