what

  • checks $spacelift_stack against a list of all existing stacks
  • does not run spacectl stack preview on stacks that do not exist

why

  • atmos describe affected computes Spacelift Stacks that are planned to be created as part of the PR
  • Github Action fails when running spacectl stack preview on these non-existent stacks
