Summary

Updates the cartesi-rollups-node formula to version 2.0.0-alpha.13 and removes its dependency on the keg-only cartesi-machine-emulator@0.20, allowing it to use the current cartesi-machine-emulator instead.

Key Changes

  • Version bump: Updated from v2.0.0-alpha.12 to v2.0.0-alpha.13 with corresponding SHA256 hash
  • Dependency update: Changed from cartesi-machine-emulator@0.20 to cartesi-machine-emulator (current version)
  • Removed pre-built bottles: Deleted the bottle definitions for arm64_tahoe and arm64_sequoia as they are no longer needed
  • Simplified installation logic: Updated the install method to reference the current emulator formula instead of the versioned variant
  • Documentation updates: Clarified comments explaining the emulator integration and updated README to reflect that the node now uses the current emulator

Implementation Details

  • The formula now builds against the current C API of cartesi-machine-emulator, eliminating the need for the legacy 0.20 version
  • The CGO flags and rpath configuration remain functionally equivalent but reference the current emulator
  • Comments were refined to be more concise and accurate about the wrapper and dynamic linking behavior
  • README documentation was updated to indicate that cartesi-machine-emulator@0.20 is for legacy software, not specifically for cartesi-rollups-node

Bump to v2.0.0-alpha.13. This release moves the node to the emulator
0.21 C API (cm.h / cm-jsonrpc.h; its Dockerfile pins EMULATOR_VERSION
0.21.0), so depend on the current cartesi-machine-emulator instead of the
keg-only cartesi-machine-emulator@0.20. The wrappers that put the
emulator's bin on PATH are kept so cartesi-jsonrpc-machine is still found
when the Homebrew prefix is not on PATH.

Drop the alpha.12 bottle block; it will be re-added for the new version.
Update the README now that the node no longer uses the 0.20 formula.
